Have your say in the Community Access Radio review!

Community Access Radio, part of NZ On Air, is a non-profit platform dedicated to giving diverse groups throughout New Zealand a voice in mainstream media.  The organisation supports stations that are made by, and for, local communities.

Matt Mollgaard, Curriculum Leader for Radio at Auckland University of Technology, has been commissioned by NZ On Air to conduct a review of Access Radio. The review will look into the current state of Access Radio and its future in terms of its role in the communities it serves, its functionality, and its relationship with funders, producers and audiences.

The results of the review are expected to be published in November, and are greatly anticipated by listeners, programmers, and champions of Access Radio.

To contribute feedback to Mollgaard’s research on Access Radio, contact your local Access Radio station directly by the end of September.
