Launched in 2008, Roopa Aur Aap Charitable Trust (RAA) is a not-for-profit organisation started by Queen Service Medal recipient, Roopa Suchdev. We work with a vision to help victims of domestic violence and sudden tragedies and restore and enhance their quality of life while working to prevent further victimization. We are committed to fight against domestic violence and urge every silent sufferer to break the chain of violence and live without fear. We try to help people in every possible way in crisis and distress irrespective of ethnicity, age and gender.
We have a team of valuable team of experts which include multilingual skilled counselors, social workers, and volunteers who are experienced in providing culturally appropriate assistance and converse with the victims in their local language.We provide family violence services like free counselling and social support, organize awareness campaigns, training, and workshop for essential life skill development and assist the victims with support services like legislation filing, safe/emergency housing, basic necessity supplies, etc. in their difficult time.
We use emotional intelligence and empathy to understand the dilemma of the victims.Our therapeutic intervention programmes are designed as per the needs of each individual seeking support in a crisis with an aim to improve services for survivors through prevention and awareness campaigns, workshops and reviews.

3/ Awareness campaigns to create awareness focused on various social issues such as elder abuse, healthy relationships, rights of women, children and families.

6/ Empowering the victims to rehabilitate them and overcome the traumatic past.
7/ In order to strengthen the vulnerable section of the community, we also conduct frequent workshops for Educational and Social Awareness, Behavioural, Mental and Physical Health, Personal Safety & Protection, Bonding Domestic Relationships.
