Webfit News is a small, community-driven, not-for-profit platform created to serve and uplift our diverse communities across Aotearoa. Our purpose is simple: give people a voice, highlight local stories, and make sure our communities feel seen, heard, and respected.

We focus on community news coverage, social issues, youth achievements, and everyday stories that often go unnoticed in mainstream media. Our team also creates clear, easy-to-understand awareness videos about local elections, public services, and important community decisions so that everyone can stay informed and involved.

A big part of our work is celebrating local talent. Whether someone is excelling in education, arts, culture, business, or sports, we love sharing their journey so others can feel inspired. We also support local events with coverage and video highlights, and we write articles about small and family-owned businesses to help them reach a wider audience.

Our goal is to build a platform that belongs to the community. Anyone is welcome to approach us for support, event coverage, awareness campaigns, youth promotion, or stories that matter to them. We believe that every voice counts, and we are here to amplify it in a positive and responsible way.

If your organisation ever needs media support, collaboration, or help spreading an important message, Webfit News is always happy to work together for the good of our communities.
