Director Corporate Services

The Director of Corporate Services is a Tier 3 leadership role responsible for the delivery of corporate services across the Ministry. The role leads the relationship with the Department of Internal Affairs (DIA), which provides core services to the Ministry including IT, property, finance, risk, strategy, procurement, and human resources. Effective management of these relationships is critical, as DIA delivers essential corporate enablement services.

The Ministry complements DIA support with a small internal corporate services team to enable greater responsiveness and agility in supporting Ministry leadership. The Director oversees this model and ensures services are fit for purpose.

The Director is accountable for the Ministry’s financial performance, budget allocation, monitoring, compliance, and accountability obligations. This includes oversight of reporting on the Ministry’s work programme and ensuring that appropriate financial and operational controls are in place.
