The Women Entrepreneurship Centre (WEC) is a not-for-profit organisation based in Auckland, New Zealand, dedicated to empowering all communities (including ethnic communities, migrant families, and women) through education, digital upskilling, and entrepreneurial leadership.

WEC delivers a wide range of programmes that support personal, professional, and business growth—these include digital skills development, entrepreneurship and leadership training, capability-building workshops, business startup support, mentoring, and pathways for employment and self-employment.

Our programmes are designed to build confidence, close knowledge gaps, enhance digital capability, and provide practical tools that help participants thrive in New Zealand’s social and economic environment.

WEC has built a strong and diverse network of community organisations, corporates, SMEs, and funding bodies. Through these partnerships, we provide accessible learning opportunities, community outreach, information sharing, and platforms for networking and collaboration across Auckland’s wider multicultural communities.

Overall, WEC remains committed to creating inclusive opportunities that uplift individuals and families, strengthen community participation, and contribute to long-term economic empowerment.
