The Muslim Association of New Zealand (MANZ) is an independent national and international organisation established to serve, represent, and empower Muslim communities throughout New Zealand and beyond. MANZ is committed to advancing community development through leadership, education, advocacy, humanitarian service, research, and strategic partnerships while upholding the universal values of integrity, justice, compassion, and excellence.
MANZ strongly promotes unity, cooperation, and mutual respect among people of all backgrounds. While rooted in Islamic values, we welcome collaboration and partnerships with individuals, community organisations, educational institutions, charities, businesses, faith communities, and the private sector. We are committed to working constructively with local and central government agencies in New Zealand, as well as governments, diplomatic missions, international organisations, and global partners where appropriate, to advance initiatives that strengthen communities, promote social cohesion, support humanitarian efforts, and contribute to the public good.
Our vision is to strengthen and empower Muslim communities while fostering meaningful engagement with wider society. We strive to preserve Islamic identity, develop and empower our youth - our future leaders, promote education, encourage active citizenship, and inspire positive social, economic, and civic contributions that benefit New Zealand and the international community.
MANZ is committed to building a professional, transparent, accountable, and sustainable organisation that delivers meaningful programmes and services in education, youth development, social welfare, community representation, research, humanitarian relief, leadership development, public engagement, and community capacity building. Through excellence in governance, innovation, and service, we aspire to become a trusted voice for Muslim communities and a respected organisation nationally and internationally.
We maintain an open-door policy and welcome individuals and organisations of all backgrounds who share our commitment to building stronger communities. Whether through partnership, collaboration, volunteering, sponsorship, professional expertise, or community engagement, we believe lasting progress is achieved through mutual respect, shared responsibility, and meaningful cooperation.
We welcome ideas, feedback, and constructive dialogue as we continue to grow and serve. Together with our members, partners, and supporters, MANZ is committed to building a stronger, more inclusive, and more connected future for New Zealand and beyond.
Together, Building Stronger Communities. Empowering Future Generations.
