About the Organisation:

The Bihar Jharkhand Association of New Zealand (BJANZ) is a community organisation committed to cultural preservation, community connection, migrant support, and youth empowerment for people of Bihar and Jharkhand heritage across Aotearoa New Zealand.

Our key objectives include:

1.        Cultural Preservation & Promotion – Celebrating traditional festivals and heritage.

2.        Community Building – Creating a sense of belonging through events and support.

3.        Youth Engagement – Providing leadership and volunteering opportunities.

4.        Integration – Encouraging cross-cultural collaboration and participation.

5.        Migrant Support – Assisting newcomers with settlement and connection.
