Greetings
Recently there have been some new community cases of COVID-19 in Auckland. As a result, Auckland is now at COVID-19 Alert Level 3. The rest of New Zealand is at Alert Level 2.
Steps are being taken to help keep everyone safe. People who may have come into contact with these community cases, are being told to take some action by health officials.
It’s important to follow the instructions of these officials. A list of places in Auckland where people may have come into contact with one of the community cases is available online at health.govt.nz(external link). If you have visited any of these locations contact Healthline on 0800 611 116 for advice.
If you are asked to stay at home and apart from other people, or get tested for COVID-19, please do so immediately.
While you are waiting for your test result you must also stay at home and apart from other people. If you have COVID-19 like symptoms stay home and call your GP or Healthline on 0800 611 116 for advice. Symptoms include a fever, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, a runny nose, cough, muscle pain or difficulty breathing.
Under Alert Level 3 everyone should be doing the following:
More information is available online at covid19.govt.nz(external link).
By following the rules we can all do our part to keep New Zealand safe. Together, we can eliminate COVID-19 from our communities once again.
Be kind and stay safe.
