  • supporting the Minister for Diversity, Inclusion and Ethnic Communities
  • administering funding

Ethnic Communities Development Fund

Lion dance performersThe Fund has $4.2 million a year for ethnic community groups to carry out projects in their communities.

Ethnic Communities COVID-19 Vaccine Uptake Fund

Funding is available for activities that directly support vaccination uptake by Ethnic Communities. This helps remove barriers to vaccination and makes it easier for our communities to keep people safe.

Ethnic Communities Digital Inclusion Fund

The aim of this Fund is to ensure ethnic communities can use digital technology. To help them to take part in Aotearoa New Zealand society. The Fund has $200,000 to distribute by 30 June 2021. Applications closed on the 28 April 2021.
